Tapas or Tap means “To heat, to shine and to burn” on the path that consists of a spectrum of practices that lead to the liberation from the grasps of illusions and ultimately leaves one standing on the door of Moksha, the utter bliss for the soul.
Yoga meets Tap at crossroads that can show us a way out of the labyrinth of suffering and never-ending materialistic desires.
Tapas Yoga( Yoga Alliance International US) delivers 100 hours Yin and Vinyasa yoga and 200 hours of multi-style Yoga teacher training in Goa, the land of sun, sand, and sea. We aspire to merge the body, mind, and soul in a union that binds one’s self to something that is greater than all of us.
Our yoga teacher training courses offer a systematic routine that allows you to learn and love the art that is living. We believe in philosophy that can see the vast difference between living and existing, with Yoga that is best at its traditional self.
Tapas Yoga welcomes everyone who’s on a journey to find themselves for a greater purpose or just to break free from the pattern of birth, old age, disease and death.

I would highly recommend Tapas for all who have the desire to understand the joy that yoga practice brings to one's life and beyond.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting and it feels as though they have a personal relationship with each student…attention is given to each person and their needs.

I’ve always been impressed with your deep knowledge of yoga as a science and a philosophy, and how this flows through your classes, and is passed on to the students on both an individual level and class level. I have always been encouraged by your calm assurance & find your teaching methods motivating. The classes have always been enjoyable and provided an opportunity for personal physical and mental development through Iyengar Yoga.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the course and feel so much more enlightened as a result. I now have a whole new perspective and understanding of yoga, whereas, before, I saw it as purely physical. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. You and Bindiya are amazing ladies and amazing teachers! I will definitely spread the word!

I learned yoga at tapas and I am very thankful for that experience. It was great in many aspects. The organization, the location, the food and the teachers. With a multi-style yoga training, you get to know many different yoga styles, which I liked a lot. You have different teachers which give a broader view of yoga. Tapas -offers a beautiful handbook/manual for the theoretical part which is very helpful. Whether you will have a good experience or not of course also depends on your attitude, Tapas yoga does its best to provide you with a wonderful experience. Right now I can say that Tapas prepared me perfectly for new yoga challenges. Thanks so much to all the teachers and staff. It was such a wonderful and peaceful experience.
